Day by Day

Day 1 - Tuesday. Santa Cruz: Bachas Beach
Santa Cruz: Bachas BeachYou’ll find flamingos in the lagoons and Sally Lightfoot crabs in the rocky tide.
Recommendation: Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities: Hiking
Animals. Finches, blue-footed boobies, brown pelican, flamingo, lava gull, frigatebird, marine turtles, lava lizards, marine iguanas.
Day 2 - Wednesday. Genovesa: Darwin Bay & Prince Philip's Steps
Genovesa: Darwin Bay Beach. Enjoy a swimming on Darwin Bay while watch the colony of frigates and many other endemic species.
Genovesa: Prince Philip´s Steps. It is an incredible and steep path in which you can observe a large number of birds, up to amazing cliffs of 25 m high.
Recommendation. Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities. Hiking, snorkel.
Animals. Frigatebird, marine iguanas, red-footed boobies, masked boobies, sea gulls, herons, finches, land doves, mockingbird, short-eared Owl, yellow Warbler, nazca booby, swallow tailed gull, sea lions.
Day 3 - Thursday. Santiago: Egas Port
Santiago: Egas Port. A beautiful black sand beach formed by the activity of the Pan de Azucar volcano and an old salt mine are the main attractions of this port.
Recommendation. Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities. Hiking, snorkel.
Animals. Finches, land doves, hawks, mockingbird, marine iguanas, fur seals, sea lions, shark.
Day 4 - Friday
Isabela Island: Vicente Roca Point. It is the rocky part of Isabela Island, where you can find penguins and a great variety of birds and is an excellent place for snorkeling.
Fernandina Island: Espinosa Point. Walk around nest of iguanas and watch the Fernandina Island’s volcano which last erupted in May 2005.
Recommendation: Wet suit.
Activities: Hiking, snorkel.
Animals. Marine iguanas, flightless cormorant, penguins, snake-biserialis, hawks, lava Lizards, sea lions, snake-biserialis, marine turtles
Day 5 - Saturday. Isabela: Tagus Cove and Urbina Bay.
Isabela Island: Tagus Cove. Tagus Cove was a hiding place for pirates, the tourist can see several inscriptions dating back to the 1800’s.
Isabela Island: Urbina Bay. At the base of Alcedo volcano, the trail is perfect for animal watching such as iguanas and tortoises.
Recommendation. Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities. Hiking, snorkel, panga ride, kayak.
Animals. Land iguanas, hawks, giant tortoises, red lobsters, blue lobsters, finches, flightless cormorant, marine iguanas, flycatcher, mockingbird, yellow warbler, penguins.
Day 6 - Sunday. Isabela: Moreno Point and Elizabeth Bay.
Isabela: Moreno Point. Amazing panorama of the three most active volcanoes in the Galapagos Islands allow the tourist view and take photos of the islands landscape.
Isabela: Elizabeth Bay.  On this breeding site for penguins the tourist can also watch more endemics species that coexist on this island.
Recommendation. Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities. Hiking, panga ride, snorkel.
Animals. Penguins, brown pelican, flightless cormorant, spotted eagle rays, golden rays, sea lions, herons, marine turtles, marine iguanas, finches, black-necked stilt, flightless cormorant, flamingo.
Day 7 - Monday
Isabela: Sierra Negra – Galapaguera. Visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding
Center, to see the giant tortoises.

Isabela. Villamil Port. Small port village located in the southeastern of Isabela Islands. Offers many land based tour.
Recommendation. Short clothes and walk shoes.
Activities. Hiking.
Animals.  Sea lions, herons, marine iguanas, finches, land iguana, giant turtle.
Day 8 - Tuesday. Santa Cruz: Twin Craters Highlands.
Santa Cruz: Twin Craters Highlands . They are impressive holes that were formed by lava, located in the highlands.
Recommendation. Short clothes and walk shoes.
Activities. Hiking.
Animals. Darwin’s finches, galapagos mockingbird, vermilion flycatcher, galapagos dove, galapagos petrel, galapagos short-eared owl.
