Day by Day

Day 1 - Tuesday
North Seymour. This island is place of land iguanas. Also the vegetation host nests for real frigates of the Galapagos.
Recommendation: Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities: Hiking, snorkel, panga ride.
Animals. Land iguanas, frigatebird, swallow tailed gull, marine iguanas, sea lions, mockingbird, finches, yellow warbler, blue-footed boobies, frigatebird, red-billed tropicbird.
Day 2 - Saturday
Genovesa: Darwin Bay. Enjoy a swimming on Darwin Bay while watch the colony of frigates and many other endemic species.
Genovesa: Prince Phillip´s Steps. It is an incredible and steep path in which you can observe a large number of birds, up to amazing cliffs of 25 m high.
Recommendation: Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities: Hiking, snorkel, kayak.
Animals. Frigatebird, marine iguanas, red-footed boobies, masked boobies, sea gulls, herons, finches, land doves, mockingbird, short-eared Owl, yellow Warbler, nazca booby, swallow tailed gull, sea lions.
Day 3 - Sunday
Santiago: James BayA perfect place to observe the marine life of the Galapagos, especially sharks, the water in this place is completely crystalline and allows visibility up to 9 meters deep.
Santiago: Buccaneer Cove. It is an incredible location and takes this name because of the sailors and pirates who used this place as an anchor to re-supply their resources.
Recommendation. Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities. Hiking, snorkel, panga ride, kayak.
Animals. Finches, flycatcher, hawks, flamingo, white-cheeked pintail, marine turtles, shark.
Day 4 - Monday
Isabela Island: Vicente Roca Point. It is the rocky part of Isabela Island, where you can find penguins and a great variety of birds and is an excellent place for snorkeling.
Fernandina Island: Espinosa Point. Walk around nest of iguanas and watch the Fernandina Island’s volcano which last erupted in May 2005.
Recommendation: Wet suit.
Activities: Panga ride, snorkel.
Animals. Marine iguanas, flightless cormorant, penguins, snake-biserialis, hawks, lava Lizards, sea lions, snake-biserialis, marine turtles
Day 5 - Tuesday
Isabela: Tagus Cove. Tagus Cove was a hiding place for pirates, the tourist can see several inscriptions dating back to the 1800’s.
Isabela: Elizabeth Bay. On this breeding site for penguins the tourist can also watch more endemics species that coexist on this island.
Recommendation. Short clothes and walk shoes.
Activities. Hiking, Snorkel, Panga Ride, Kayac.
Animals. Flycatcher, hawks, mockingbird, finches, yellow warbler, flightless cormorant, penguins, land iguanas, marine iguanas, brown pelican, spotted eagle rays, golden rays, sea lions, herons, marine turtles.
Day 6 - Wednesday
Isabela: Urbina Bay. At the base of Alcedo volcano, the trail is perfect for animal watching such as iguanas and tortoises. Difficulty: Moderate.
Isabela: Moreno Point. Amazing panorama of the three most active volcanoes in the Galapagos Islands allow the tourist view and take photos of the islands landscape. Difficulty: Moderate.
Recommendation: Short clothes, walk shoes and wet suit.
Activities: Hiking, snorkel, panga ride.
Animals. Marine iguanas, sea lions, finches, black-necked stilt, flightless cormorant, penguins, flamingo, land iguanas, hawks, giant tortoises, red lobsters, blue lobsters

Day 7 - Monday
Floreana: Cormorant Point/Champion Islet. Discover its famous dark green beach and do snorkeling. Take photos of the frigates, pelicans and the other animals of the island.
Floreana: Post Office/ Baronesa Viewing Point. Walk inside the post office installed by Captain James Colnett (1753 – 1806). Post Office was a common stop for the great whaling ships that arrived on the island.

Activities. Hiking, snorkel, panga ride, kayac.
Animals. Blue-footed boobies, albatross , marine iguanas, zayapas, masked boobies, finches, española cucuves, sea gulls, hawks, mockingbird, nazca booby, red-billed tropicbird, swallow tailed gull, sea lions, fur seals, marine turtles

Day 8 - Friday
Santa Cruz: Twin Craters Highlands . They are impressive holes that were formed by lava, located in the highlands.
Recommendation. Short clothes and walk shoes.
Activities. Hiking.
Animals. Darwin’s finches, galapagos mockingbird, vermilion flycatcher, galapagos dove, galapagos petrel, galapagos short-eared owl.
